Prof. Zuyi Li , Zhejiang University, China

Prof. Zuyi Li is an IEEE Fellow, a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education, and a Qiushi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University. He is a globally renowned scholar in the field of power systems, dedicated to addressing the high uncertainty, low reliability, and low resilience issues arising in the development of renewable energy and smart grids under the carbon neutrality strategy.
Prof. Li received his B.S. from the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, in 1995; his M.S. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, in 1998; and his Ph.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), USA, in 2022. Before returning to China, he was a Full Professor and Grainger Chair Professor at IIT. He joined Zhejiang University full-time in November 2022.
He serves as a Senior Editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid (TSG) and a Subject Editor of IET Renewable Power Generation (IET RPG). He has published more than 100 papers in the IEEE Transactions series (TPWRS, TSG), flagship journals in power systems, with over 20,000 citations on Google Scholar. As a principal investigator or co-principal investigator, he has led and participated in 24 research and education projects on renewable energy and smart grids funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and he is responsible for two projects/subprojects under the National Key R&D Program of China. His research interests include intelligent dispatch of power systems, electricity market design, microgrids and networked microgrids, and user-side energy internet.
